Brian Hendron is a Chemical Engineering graduate of University College London and has held a number of important senior management and operational roles primarily within the industrial water treatment and water hygiene sectors.
Since the early 1980’s Brian has been heavily involved in most aspects of legionella risk management in the industrial, institutional, healthcare, leisure and marine market places both in the United Kingdom and internationally.
Having worked for some of the world’s largest water treatment and environmental hygiene organisations Brian has senior management experience at board level both in the UK and internationally. He is a member of the UK’s Water Management Society.
Brian has extensive experience in conducting legionella and other safety related risk assessments, training, and regulatory compliance matters to the meet the requirements of the UK’s Health & Safety Executives Approved Code of Practice and guidance (ACoP) L8 and other applicable guidelines.
Brian has worked closely with many institutional organisations to develop innovative and sustainable solutions to persistent legionella positives and Legionnaires’ disease outbreaks. This invariably involves a holistic approach to improve design, engineering, operation, maintenance procedures, specialist service provider performance and training.
