This important business development role is key to the growth of Legionella Control International and will involve developing new business by building and maintaining new and existing client relationships, pro-actively seeking out new clients and business opportunities for the company, effectively converting sales leads, delivering excellent customer service and maximising business growth opportunities.
The role will primarily be home based although the job will require travel throughout the United Kingdom, therefore a full valid driving licence will be essential.
Suitable candidates will be highly motivated, positive thinking sales and business development professionals who are exceptional communicators, and possess a knowledge of current legislation and best practice in the areas of Legionnaires' disease, the control of legionella and water hygiene services. A minimum of 5 years sales and business development experience will also be essential.
Excellent sales and business development skills including negotiation and closing skills, self motivation with a positive attitude, ability to operate effectively on own account and as part of a team, intelligent prospecting skills, sales planning, selling to meet customer needs, GAP analysis, market knowledge, knowledge of regulatory environment for the control of legionella, presentation skills, high energy levels, ability to meet sales targets, professionalism.
IT skills, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint and experience of using a CRM system would be beneficial.
Competitive salary commensurate with this full-time role, plus performance based commission, company car and pension.
