Commitment to Achieving Net Zero
Legionella Control International is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050, in line with UK government targets. Our company actively works to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across all areas of operations by implementing energy-efficient practices, adopting renewable energy sources, and optimising our supply chain.

Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline Year: 2025
Our baseline emissions report is based on the methodology outlined in the UK Government’s GHG Reporting Guidance. The emissions data includes Scope 1, Scope 2, and relevant Scope 3 emissions.
Emissions by Scope (Baseline Year – 2025)
Emission Source | Emissions (tCO₂e) |
Scope 1: Direct Emissions (e.g., company vehicles, fuel combustion) | 43,680 |
Scope 2: Indirect Emissions (e.g., purchased electricity) | 3,495 |
Scope 3: Indirect Value Chain Emissions (e.g., business travel, waste, supply chain) | 31,546 |
Total Emissions | 78,721 |
Note: Scope 3 emissions have been estimated based on available data. We continue to refine our data collection methods for improved accuracy.
-
Emissions Reduction Targets
To continue our progress toward Net Zero by 2050, we have set the following targets:
- Reduce total carbon emissions by 50% by 2030 compared to the baseline year (2025).
- Transition to 100% renewable energy sources by 2028.
- Increase the use of electric vehicles (EVs) and hybrid fleet by 2035.
- Engage suppliers to reduce Scope 3 emissions by implementing sustainable procurement policies.
Projected Carbon Reduction
Year | Projected Emissions (tCO₂e) |
Baseline Year (2025) | 78,721 |
2030 | 50% Reduction Target |
2040 | 75% Reduction Target |
2050 | Net Zero Target |
