Salary: Salary range £30K to £45K pa, DoE + Other Benefits
Contract: 40 hours per week (full-time), permanent contract

Legionella Control International (LCI) was first established in 2004. We are growing rapidly, with year-on-year growth in excess of 30%.
Business Development Manager – About the Role:
This position is for a new Business Development Manager (BDM) to support our growth. As we continue to expand there will be excellent opportunities to advance with our internal career development programme.
The successful candidate will focus on new sales activities in order to accelerate the growth of the business.
* You may be required to travel and work in various locations throughout the UK and possibly internationally
Key Responsibilities:
- Securing new business
- Creating and following up leads: – company sourced (70%); self-generated (30%);
- Creating / maintaining a pipeline through sales activities including telephone appointing, face-to-face prospect meetings and internal sales
- Ability to manage the whole sales process from enquiry, quotation, follow up and closing.
- Keep CRM systems up to date
- Monitor and report on activities and provide relevant management information
- Attendance at conferences as necessary
- Assist with marketing activities
Business Development Manager – Candidate Attributes:
- Successful track record in sales of B2B services / technical sales (NO legionella consultancy sales experience is necessary – full training will provided)
- A minimim 2 year’s experience in a B2B sales role
- Excellent communication skills
- Self-starter
- Effective and influential communicator
- Professionalism in all areas
- Computer literate
- Good team player
- Full Driving License
